I am age four and Uncle Anders and baby
Wear me like a winter coat when you're the worst weather
Rally 'round Richard, quite a handful
He's a mad apple first and foremost
My family is my island
I better get down
Thinking the plane into the ground
I'm like that guy who couldn't figure out
The water from the sky
A fat voice, a mind adrift
Fit for a comfortable smile
Baby Washington pulled over
Eat a mossed melon
He knows a slow roller
But he's doing the green apple quick step
Anders in kurrajongs passed the bridge
Oh, Richard's taking in the scenes
He's a horny little salad
My family is my oyster
I better get down
Thinking the plane into the ground
I'm like that guy who couldn't figure out
The water from the sky
A fat voice, a mind adrift
Fit for a comfortable smile

I’ve known of STRFKR since around the time this album was originally released (2012 or 2013, most likely). That said, it’s taken me until now (February 10, 2023) to listen to STRFKR. And allow me to say this is something I somewhat regret. This album reminds me a lot of MGMT’s “Oracular Spectacular” but less polished. There’s an earnestness to these songs that is undeniable, and it’s a helluva lot of fun. If electro rock is your cup of tea, bring an empty cup; STRFKR’s gonna make sure it’s full. Kirk Gauthier
